Reporter/Anchor, KARE-TV (NBC) Minneapolis, MN 2014 — Present
Adrienne Broaddus is a multi-skilled journalist who shoots, writes and edits packages to present live daily. In addition to shooting and editing weekday stories, she anchors KARE 11 News at 11 a.m. Monday- Friday. She has covered major stories for KARE TV and TEGNA stations nationwide, including the shooting death of Michael Brown which led to protests in Ferguson, MO and the deadly flooding in South Carolina. She produced multiple and exclusive stories following the police involved shooting of Philando Castile in Minnesota.

Produced two enterprise stories daily. Promoted from weekend morning anchor to host of “Better Mid-Michigan,” a nationally syndicated lifestyle and entertainment program. Also, solo anchored all weekend newscasts. One of a handful of journalists selected to attend Poynter’s Power Reporting workshop in 2006. Her series of investigative reports on local bar operating illegally led to its shut down.
